Not to brag, but I've been to quite a few coffee shops. I'm a huge fan of both the coffee part, and the atmosphere that they have. I've visited many a Starbucks, Jittery Joes, and as many independent coffee shops as I can. So I'd consider myself somewhat of an "expert" on the subject. While there are plenty of favorites, I'm not quite sure I can say I've found the PERFECT coffee shop yet. But I know what I'm looking for:
Noise Level: A Low Din
It's no easy task creating the perfect coffee shop din - there's a lot of chances for coffee shops to be too loud or too quiet. But I prefer a soft commotion in the background while I work, rather than music. If it gets too loud though, all bets are off on productivity!
Seating: Cozy But Not Crowded
Variety: Iced or Hot Thank You
Friendly Staff: Where Everyone Knows Your Name
Even if they don't spell your name right ;)
